Hi, I’m Kelsey, Fil de Lin’s founder and curator, as well as a Magnolia-based Interior Designer. I grew up in the neighborhood and am now raising my own child in the same beautiful surroundings that helped shape my creative beginnings.

My first job was just two doors away from Fil de Lin, where I assisted a shop owner and interior designer while I was in high school. It was a dream position that helped solidify my creative path forward. I went on to earn an applied arts degree focused on Interior and Retail Design.

Over the past two decades, I’ve built a career spanning creative direction, event design, editorial & commercial styling, and interior design. My work has appeared on Food Network, Discovery, WMagazine.com, MarthaStewart.com, StyleMePretty.com, and in magazines including Brides, Seattle Met Bride & Groom, Seattle Bride, and on the cover of Men’s Journal.

Fil de Lin was born from a desire to establish something magical close to home. My hope is that it offers you inspiration, simplifies the process of creating a home you love, and serves as a destination for discovering great finds close by.
