What does Fil de Lin mean?

In ancient mythology you’ll find the story of the Three Fates. One sister spins the thread of each person’s life from flax and the other two sisters determine all of the elements of that life’s destiny, connecting us to everything that we are meant to experience here. Fil de Lin, or “linen thread” in French, is Kelsey’s way of honoring the beauty of that myth. Creating this shop is following a path that she was destined for. Every item in Fil de Lin is chosen with care and intention in the hope that they’ll weave themselves into the meaningful tapestries of the homes and lives of our customers, and their friends, families, and neighbors.
