Hi, I’m Kelsey, Fil de Lin’s founder and curator, as well as a Magnolia-based Interior Designer. I grew up in the neighborhood and am now raising my own child in the same beautiful surroundings that helped shape my creative beginnings.

My first job was just two doors away from Fil de Lin, where I assisted a shop owner and interior designer while I was in high school. It was a dream position that helped solidify my creative path forward. I went on to earn an applied arts degree focused on interior and retail design. Over the past two decades, I’ve built a career spanning creative direction, event design, editorial & commercial styling, and interior design. My work has appeared on Food Network, Discovery, Wmagazine.com, MarthaStewart.com, and stylemepretty.com, and in print publications including brides, Seattle Met Bride & Groom, Seattle Bride, and the cover of men’s journal.

Fil de Lin was born from a desire to establish something magical close to home. a haven for curated decor, aesthetic gifts for kids, indulgent scents, little luxuries, and artisanal paper goods. My hope is that it offers you inspiration and helps bring more simplicity to the process of creating a home you love, and discovering great finds close by.

If you’re interested in working together, I look forward to having you stop by Fil de Lin so we can chat about your project.

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
